CMHC Housing Design Catalogue goes live for use

It’s official! The CMHC Housing Design Catalogue is now live and ready to use!

reLoad is proud to have contributed to this national initiative, the first of its kind in Canada to integrate both energy performance and embodied carbon modelling for affordable housing designs.

Our work focused on tuning envelope requirements for eight typologies across three BC climate zones, enabling designs that meet BC Energy Step Code Step 4 and Zero Carbon Step Code Emission Level 4 — setting a new benchmark for low-carbon, resilient housing.
